So what exactly is this?
resound is an attempt at a fresh expression of church based in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland. We hope to be a church that is not just relevant to, but shaped and changed by the people who are not yet a part of us.

What makes it different?
Northern Ireland is full of churches, but more and more people are finding it difficult to relate to church as we know it. We are going back to first principles, and losing the baggage that has been built up over two thousand years. We have no church building, no entrance exams, and no noses that we will look down at you through. The only thing you need to belong is a desire to belong. We will welcome you with open arms.

Why resound?
The word resound means "to celebrate or praise". As our lives are meant to be lived out as praise to God, we thought that it pretty much sums us up. Plus we voted on a few and it won.
